Your Career

What you want to do matters to us. If you want to focus on delivery, we’ll make sure you’ve got a steady stream of jobs to work on. If you’re a business developer, we’ll point you in the right direction and support you as you grow your client base. If you want to be somewhere in the middle, we’ll give you what you need to spin all the plates you need to.

So far, we’ve been able to capture a fraction of the market. The renewables industry sees significant double-digit growth every single year, and you’ll be able to work across Scotland, Europe and North America. You can turn your attention to established technologies (like wind, which we’ve barely touched) or focus on new technologies (like green hydrogen, which is getting a huge amount of attention). You’ll be able to choose your technology and niche, and you’ll get what you need to get started in that space.

If you’re better flying solo, you don’t need to take on any management responsibilities. If you want to have a team to support you, you can go down the management route. We’re here to enable you to get as much as you want from your work.

The Job Spec

Your day-to-day

  • Conducting deep market research to uncover the best talent out there for our customers

  • Approaching potential candidates about the positions we’re working on, then interviewing candidates on screening calls and pitching them the positions we present them

  • Negotiating offers and managing the hiring process. This is doing stuff like facilitating interviews, coordinating background and reference checks and managing the onboarding

  • Developing your niche while building solid, long-term relationships with your potential candidates and clients across the market

  • You’ll need to always be improving. You’ll need to keep an eye on industry trends and best practices, and we’ll empower you to do that with the training you need

  • Developing new business through prospecting potential customers

What we need from you

  • Fluency in English (C2), with German, Spanish or Chinese being hugely advantageous

  • Previous recruitment/sales experience

  • A university degree (or equivalent professional experience)

  • All the usual soft skills – you’ll need to be good at working as part of a team, you’ll need to have a ‘can-do’ attitude, all the rest of it

  • Willingness to travel (we attend conferences internationally throughout the year, and our clients are located around the world)
